Classical Piano Teacher, Performer and Accompanist in London

Hiroko Ueno is a conservatoire-trained classical pianist, who has been performing for over 20 years despite her youth. Following early successes in international piano competitions when living in her native Japan, she moved to England at the age of 13 and continued to amaze with her skill and passion for music in general, and piano in particular.

In addition to her piano performances, she has spent several years in schools as a musician in residence which saw her playing as an accompanist, assisting as a music teacher and regularly supervising children from the ages of 5-18, all in addition to offering private piano lessons and preparing students for national curriculum courses, music scholarships,  and ABRSM grade examinations, as well as music festivals and concerts.

Fantastic working with children and adults, beginners and experts, she is an engaging, inspiring and enthusiastic piano teacher with the experienced knowledge and proven technique to help anyone discover, learn and master ‘the king of instruments’.
